Yet More London for HgCapital
-
HgCapital will continue to enjoy stunning views of the Thames, Tower Bridge, The Tower of London and HMS Belfast having elected to take another floor at 2 More London Riverside to accommodate an ever-increasing workforce.
HgCapital began life as Mercury Private Equity, the private equity arm of Mercury Asset Management plc which in turn was acquired by Merrill Lynch in 1997. In December 2000, the executives of Mercury Private Equity negotiated independence from Merrill Lynch, and HgCapital was established as a fully independent partnership wholly owned by Partners and employees.
HgCapital has assets under management of £5.5 billion, serving over 100 institutional investors, including private and public pension funds, endowments, insurance companies and fund of funds.
Having decided to double their office space HgCapital have engaged the JAC Design, Project Management and Furniture teams to provide design, furniture and project management services for both their current and new floors.
Susie Harrison, Senior Designer at JAC Group comments,
‘HgCapital have set us some complex tasks, relocating their meeting room suite and reception to a new floor, providing multiple collaboration spaces and allowing for their increased headcount. We are delighted to be working towards a SKA Gold rating so ensuring that the design and fit out are sustainable.’
