Completion at Redburn
JAC are pleased to announce the successful completion of the new London office of Redburn at 10 Aldermanbury in the heart of the City of London.
Redburn Partners are Europe’s largest independent equities broker, providing institutional investors with equity research and agency execution in Pan-European equity markets.
Redburn’s services are tailored for institutional investors to the exclusion of any other activity. Their independence avoids potential conflicts of interest associated with corporate finance and proprietary trading. This is true independence and has been a significant factor in the growth of their client base, which includes leading institutional investors.
JAC Design & Project Management were appointed to provide full architectural design services as well as project management and cost consultancy services. The JAC role extended to include a heavily integrated design and commercial investment in the landlords base build scheme.
The JAC Project Management team saw the close coordination of a wide professional team that included mechanical & electrical consultants ESP, Home Control Solutions, Dimension Data UK and MLM. The landlords team representing the interests of JP Morgan included building management team Cushman & Wakefield, disposing agents DTZ and mechanical & electrical consultant The Anslow Partnership. Redburn’s commercial property interests were represented by Savills. Soft finishes and furniture were procured by JAC Furniture.
As well as the functional requirements of the new Redburn office we wanted to create a timeless and classic aesthetic that delivered an attention to detail and a level of quality reflective of the work undertaken by Redburn.
Clean, crisp lines of architecture are coupled with beautiful joinery, fabrics and natural stone, combining to produce a design that is stunning in its simplicity and complex in its detail.
The nature of the base build integration given the dilapidated condition of the demise provided significant challenges that required a closely coordinated approach from both the client and the professional team. The mechanical and electrical consultants that were appointed to integrate with our design and project management teams enabled us to coherently address the technical challenges and solutions that the property provided. Selection of the correct contractor was always going to be key and both JAC and Redburn were delighted with the eventual contractor selection following a robust tender process.
