HomeAway First Stage Completion
HomeAway have recently completed the first stage of their office transformation by refurbishing 11,000 square feet on the 24th floor at Portland House with the utilisation of the JAC Project Management and Furniture teams.
With over 1 million property listings HomeAway connects holidaymakers with homeowners and property managers, providing consumers with great value, unrivalled worldwide exposure and unique accommodation.
Portland House was built in 1963 and is only a short walk from Victoria Station. Following the area’s redevelopment in 2005, there is now a wide variety of shopping and eating options in and around Cardinal Place.
The JAC Project Management Team were appointed to provide full independent project management and cost consultancy services.
The JAC Furniture Team were appointed to procure a range of furniture items to meet HomeAway’s needs, including the new Via 57 chair by the renowned architect Bjarke Ingels – the first time it has been seen in a UK office – which complements the newly designed space perfectly. The JAC Furniture Team pride ourselves on the ability to source new and exciting products and materials to ensure each project is pushing the boundaries, HomeAway at Portland House is testament to that.
