US Law Firm
JAC are delighted to announce the formal appointment of the JAC Project Management team to support the 24,000 sq ft occupation of a leading US law firm occupying London’s new landmark development at 20 Fenchurch Street.
The project has seen JAC lead and appoint a professional team consisting of Gensler architects and mechanical and electrical consultants Hilson Moran. The project will see close coordination of a client team based in both the UK and the US.
The project that follows a traditional method of procurement is earmarked for completion in quarter 4 of 2015.
The property at 20 Fenchurch Street is designed by world-renowned architect Rafael Viñoly and is a joint development by Land Securities and Canary Wharf Group. Land Securities is the UK’s largest commercial property company and a member of the FTSE 100. The company owns and manages over 29 million sq ft of office, retail and residential space.
The property provides 680,000 sq ft of grade-A commercial office space and represents another landmark for JAC who continue to demonstrate an impressive portfolio of clients occupying landmark developments in the City of London. This appointment has been followed closely by the appointment of JAC Design & Project Management to oversee the delivery of a new commercial office scheme at another tower complex, 122 Leadenhall, commonly referred to as the ‘cheesegrater’.
Speaking on the appointment of JAC Managing Director, John Cox commented;
“This project is a strong demonstration of the ability of the JAC team to work across a multitude of different procurement routes and to bring together a wide ranging group of professional consultants to address the needs of a project. We are delighted to be working with the team at Gensler and are looking forward to the safe delivery of what will be a striking project”.
