Project overview

Cripps have a national reputation for the quality of its legal expertise, with many of its lawyers ranked amongst the best in the country. One of the largest employers in the town, Cripps had been looking for new offices for over ten years. Following their exhaustive search, JAC were approached to provide project management, cost analysis and contract administration consultancy services.
Working on a traditional route of procurement, a full professional team was engaged to detail and cost the project prior to tendering the works to three shortlisted contractors. The JAC team project managed and oversaw the construction works ensuring that the design concept and quality levels were fully adhered to.

About the building

Law firm Cripps have now moved into their new 40,000 square feet headquarters in Tunbridge Wells, the first substantial office building to have been built in the town for more than 25 years. The state of the art building, on the site of the former Kent & Sussex Hospital, was built by Berkeley Homes as part of the Royal Wells Park development and will be occupied by around 300 staff over four floors. Cripps is one of the largest employers in the town and had been looking for new offices for over ten years.
