NYK Group retained JAC as project managers for the relocation of its European headquarters in Canary Wharf over the course of 2022.

This was a keenly watched project within the group, not only as it related to our flagship office in the region, but also as it involved a significant reduction in floor-space as well as design, build and technical fit-out to facilitate hybrid working.

We had no internal expertise in this area, so ran a tender to source an experienced project management consultant to lead us through the project. Zoe and her team stood out among the various agencies invited to bid, quickly understanding our objectives and corporate culture to create a strong rapport with our management team.

We engaged a number of contractors for the various elements of our project, who Shane and Lee were excellent in proactively and professionally managing in a no-nonsense, but collaborative way.

The timeline was very tight, the challenge this presented being compounded by supply issues arising out of the pandemic. Throughout the process the JAC team kept us informed as to progress and gave comfort that they had the numerous elements of the project were under control.

Shane and Lee felt like an extension of the NYK team, along with our internal project manager creating an outstanding spirit and drive among our contractors to deliver a high quality design and fit out, within budget and in-line with our schedule.

JAC’s contribution to the success of this project cannot be over-stated and we would have no hesitation in using them in the future.
