Project Managing an existing CAT B strip out and CAT B refurbishment to part of the 10th floor at 20 Churchill Place in Canary Wharf for AFME (Association for Financial Markets in Europe) extended the JAC teams reach in Canary Wharf following the recent successful relocation of NYK Group to 1 Cabot Square.

The fit-out scope included the construction of meeting rooms, offices, collaborative breakout areas, a wellness room, tea points, showers, a drying room, and a comms room in conjunction with new open-plan workspaces, incorporating modifications to the mechanical, electrical, and public health services.

Challenges arose surrounding the fibre surveys and a delayed base build handover. High-specification meeting room pod systems were installed, with impressive tea points and collaboration spaces ensuring the AFME team had ample socialising and collaboration spaces.

AFME (Association for Financial Markets in Europe) moved into our new London office after an 18-month relocation project, and we are delighted to be here! The design and delivery of our new space has met all our objectives and exceeded our expectations.

Not having in-house expertise, it was important that we partnered with consultants who could oversee and manage all aspects of the project. JAC Group were the first appointment we made and have been by our side from the outset, co-ordinating the many stakeholders and processes as we progressed from the lease acquisition through to the design and the build.

Shane and his team were an integral part of the project, they took the time to understand what we wanted from our new space and guided, advised and at times led, through every step of the process, in a professional and collaborative way, deriving the best possible outcomes.
