A confidential public sector organisation responsible for the management and conservation of fish stocks across the North-East Atlantic appointed JAC Project Management to deliver the Cat B fit-out of their new London office across 7,000 sq ft in the City of London.

With only five full-time staff but a requirement to host annual delegate meetings of up to 90 people, the brief was unlike a typical office fit-out. Flexibility and acoustic performance were central to the design, with a specialist MEP consultant appointed to ensure the building services could respond effectively to widely fluctuating occupancy throughout the year. An acoustic consultant oversaw performance specification, testing and monitoring across the meeting room suite.

Standout features include a multifunction main delegate room with folding walls, a wavey acoustic feature wall, and an open plan tea point. Subtle nods to the ocean and the natural world are woven into the design, creating a distinctive identity without overpowering the functional brief.
