Euler Hermes
JAC Group are thrilled to have completed the project management and cost consultancy of Euler Hermes’ new office space on the 36th floor of the iconic One Canada Square tower in Canary Wharf.
The remit for JAC began with a detailed workplace study exercise undertaken on behalf of Euler Hermes, as they explored their future ways of working and adopting an agile approach to their space. The workplace evaluation was complimented by a series of focus groups with staff, in order to get feedback from them on what they wanted from a new office, as their previous space was dated both in terms of aesthetics and its layout.
The move to an agile environment turned out to be prescient in the light of the pandemic, which struck just as the design team were putting the finishing touches to the design detail. With the exception of a couple of minor tweaks to the furniture, Covid illustrated to the Euler team that the design of the space was truly robust and reflective of the new ways of working that 2020 saw expedited!
Working alongside WSP on the mechanical & electrical design, and PTS on the IT & AV design, JAC designed a modern, clean and inviting office. May Fawzy, who led the design, added creative touches throughout the space, such as a preserved tree in the tea point, a simple but quirky wallpaper in the main open plan office, and a suite of monochromatic meeting rooms that range from a light blush pink to a dark moody blue.
8build undertook the construction work, taking a bland Cat A floor to the fantastic office Euler now occupy in just 14 weeks.
With stunning views of London, and a smart office, we hope the Euler team will enjoy the space for many years to come.
