SharkNinja appointed JAC Project Management to deliver the Cat B fit-out of floors 3 and 4 at 50 Electric Boulevard, Battersea Power Station, creating a 32,000 sq ft London headquarters across two floors. Listed on the New York Stock Exchange since July 2023, SharkNinja designs and manufactures household appliances, and the brief called for a workplace that could serve as both a high-functioning office and a world-class product environment.
JAC provided project management and cost consultancy services across the full project lifecycle. Senior leadership approvals were required from the US throughout, requiring proactive communication and expectation management at every stage. Key risks included base build completion delays, landlord rectification works identified through validation surveys, separate leases for each floor requiring simultaneous licence to alter execution, and a lack of readily available fibre infrastructure on site.
The fit-out incorporated extensive mechanical and electrical modifications across both floors to suit the general arrangement. Acoustic performance was a significant consideration throughout, particularly for the demonstration kitchen, where extract specification had to account for filming activity taking place in the space. Loading assessments were carried out to accommodate heavy equipment, and cellular spaces were constructed using an encapsulated method with careful attention to abutment details.
Standout spaces include a demonstration kitchen, two café kitchens, product showrooms with carefully coordinated projector setups, editing suites, meeting room suites, and open plan work areas. The café also functions as an all-hands meeting and events space.
The project achieved SKA Gold accreditation.
