Somerset Capital Management
Somerset Capital Management LLP is a specialist Global Emerging Markets investment management firm. Founded in 2007, over time the firm has grown to $7+bn under management.
Project Overview
Somerset Capital Management appointed JAC Group to project manage, develop the architectural design, and supply the furniture for their office fit-out across the 3rd and 5th floors at Manning House, 22 Carlisle Place.
Procured traditionally, the mechanical, electrical and public health scope of works and design was developed by GDM, with building control/statutory consultancy provided by GSA and health and safety overseen by Shore Engineering.
The scope included the construction of their front of house meeting room suites and back of house office areas including 3 meeting rooms, 2 large boardrooms, reception area, café, 2 tea points and post room.
Given the condition of the base build services identified through mechanical and electrical validations and surveys, landlord contributions had to be heavily negotiated in order to meet the clients programme and budget expectations, led by JAC.
The finished article is a unique and modern office space, maintaining traditional features and themes throughout.
