The Dorchester Collection

We are extremely proud to have delivered this stunning office for The Dorchester Collection at 1 Knightsbridge. After 8 years at Lansdowne House, the new offices at 1 Knightsbridge gives The Dorchester Collection team a huge amount of variety with collaboration zones and loads of natural light.

The JAC Project Management team was tasked with providing a training academy suite, client response area functioning for 18 hours per day, high-end reception, video conference-enabled meeting rooms, offices, collaborative breakout areas, and tea points in conjunction with the new open plan workspaces over two floors, the upper ground and third floors totalling 27,200 sq ft.

Sustainability, acoustics, and a high level of technological vision formed the keystones of the project brief. With a full and robust brief, the JAC team were able to run a competitive process for all the key professional teams required, including the design team, mechanical and electrical consultant, furniture and removals teams, and IT and audiovisual expertise.

With the professional team on board, a pacy program necessitated an early tender to appoint a contractor. The project was on site for 17 weeks, followed by the audio-visual and furniture installation.
