JAC Group are thrilled to announce their appointment by one of the fastest-growing Industrial IoT companies, headquartered in San Francisco.
This project will see the JAC Group Project Management team moving a client team from a serviced office environment to their very own space in a fully refurbished office building in Aldgate – an iconic space designed to attract future occupants from the technology sector.
Our clients’ portfolio of complete Internet of Things (IoT) solutions combine hardware, software, and cloud to bring real-time visibility, analytics, and AI to operations. With over 10,000 organisations around the world using their services, the aim is to lower fuel consumption, prevent accidents, automate manual processes, and improve product quality. Providing a growing suite of solutions include vehicle telematics, driver safety, mobile workflow and compliance, asset tracking, and industrial process controls – all in an integrated, open, real-time platform.
A global Fintech firm, our client had been looking for a building in central London that it can call home for the next 20 years or more, and the new headquarters will do just that. Between our appointment and moving into the building the JAC Group Project Management Team will be working with numerous consultants, architects, designers, contractors and most importantly, our client and their employees, to ensure it’s the home the business wants and needs.
It is hard to imagine that they could have picked a more exciting and dynamic location in central London. A rapidly changing district, Aldgate and neighbouring Whitechapel’s tech and media-filled offices now count themselves as part of a thoroughly diverse community.
Office space in Aldgate used to bring to mind tired buildings, but now the area is a hive of commercial activity, both in terms of construction and the variety of businesses that call the area home, with some financial but mostly tech, media and design led occupiers – Aldgate is now seen as a credible expansion of the original Tech Belt space of Old Street and Shoreditch.
Alongside the development of commercial office space, the area has also witnessed lots of residential development, and with the long awaited opening of the new Elizabeth Line and its’ associated investment, can now justifiably regard itself as a hugely attractive lifestyle destination.
JAC Group have been appointed to project manage the move and fit out delivery, also providing cost consultancy services for a turnkey Cat A and Cat B office fit out project managing a phased occupation over two floors, ensuring the timely delivery of 21,000 square feet of innovative, state of the art office space.
